So, grab your apron, gather 'round the kitchen, and let's sprinkle a little enchantment into our day with these fantastical Apple Doughnuts! 🌈🎉
Recipe
1 large apple, sliced into rounds
1 rolls of puff pastry, ready rolled out
3 tbsp caster sugar
1 tbsp cinnamon powder
1 egg
Lots of people to be ready to eat! Plus get the kids involved!
Preheat oven to 190 c
Remove your puff pastry sheet from the fridge and allow it to sit at room temperature.
Core the apples and cut the apples into slices or rings, they need to be a little thick, you should have about 10 slices.
Combine sugar and cinnamon in a large plate.
With the rolled out pastry sheets, cut into strips. And wrap around each apple rings.
Brush with beaten egg, place on a baking tray and repeat.
Pop into the oven and bake for 15 minutes or so until golden.
Take out and mix each doughnut into the cinnamon sugar and place on a plate for serving.
