Ricotta, Parma Ham, and Avocado on toasted Sourdough.
This lunch or snack combines creamy ricotta, savory parma ham or prosciutto , ripe avocado, and the rustic charm of toasted sourdough bread to create a symphony of taste that will leave your palate craving for more.
Imagine the soft, pillowy texture of fresh ricotta, generously spread atop a slice of perfectly toasted sourdough bread. This forms the canvas for the other exquisite ingredients. Nestled on top, we have thinly sliced, succulent Parma ham—its saltiness perfectly balances the mild creaminess of the ricotta.
But that's not all. A crown of creamy avocado slices adds a creamy, buttery element to the dish.
So, come try out these blend of flavors and textures that await you in this impeccable dish—a true feast for both the eyes and the palate.
Recipe:
Serves 2
4 slices of sourdough
4 slices of parma ham/prosciutto
1 avocado, peeled and sliced
3 tbsp ricotta cheese
salt and pepper
drizzle of olive oil
Firstly toast your breads, then spread over the ricotta generously on to the toasted bread. Layer on the avocado slices and ham. Crack over some black pepper and drizzle olive oil. Serve immediately.
