So you may be wondering for the last couple months I have been a bit silent on You Tube and my blog. So the secret is I'm pregnant with baby number two on the way!

It's been a whirlwind of projectile vomiting, bloatedness, fatigue and not being able to smell or eat food in my usual habit. So BIG changes. BUT I am growing a tiny human in my body which I think we can allow a bit of understanding for that.
It takes energy and all your bodies functions to grow a baby. The body is pretty amazing really. So what have I been eating in the First and Second trimester?
In the First its+'s pretty hard to want to eat anything if you have nausea. So I was feasting on jacket potatoes, cheese, frozen veg and pomegranate mostly. What ever I could hold down. Besides being horizontal most of November last year and leading up till Christmas I managed to get better for Christmas Day hoorah!
So I'm super glad that I'm back to eating normally for now, following how I feel and what I want to eat. Thank god it's not a pack of doughnuts or something like that lol
At the moment it's raw veggies and hummus, quinoa salads with lots of PROTEIN. Chicken, eggs, fish, meat, cheese you name it.

Life is good. Keeping active, swimming three times a week, walks and some yoga in there. Keeping those legs and strength strong to help with the weight increase.

Here are some helpful tips any mamas reading this, that I find I wish I had known while feeling there is no hope at the end of the tunnel...
THERE IS ALWAYS HOPE. It shall pass. The feeling that your nauseaus all the time will go eventually. Just eat what you can manage, if all you can do is binge watch Netflix- do it. Dont beat yourself up about it, you are AMAZING and your growing a human being.
What helps the nausea? Ginger in any forms, tea or crystalised is great. Cold water or having it with some squash can help. Gettin some fresh air gives you a boost and helps the sickness.
There will be days when your feeling super active and others when your just down right exhausted. It's OK. Just go with it and don't fight it your body is trying to tell you something.
Try listening to some expowering affirmations or meditation to keep calm. It does help, there are so many resources out there you can use these days. Just plug your headphones in, listen and relax. You can do this!

My sickness went around 14 weeks and has not returned. For now...
Thanks for listening to my ramblings on, I'm off for a brisk walk now, fresh air and nature is key.
Have a lovely day x
